When making a comic seem realistic, it's all about the dialouge. It has to seem like something someone might really say. Remember these three rules.

1. The average villian is self-absorbed and evil, while the heros are good natured, self absorbed and sometimes stupid.
2. People will do anything to hide stuff, so they have to end up making stuff up on the spot.
3. PEOPLE. USE. CONTRACTIONS. Unless he's a big, gray Stlunko (inside joke that only The Noid, Master Ferret, Bassium and Stinkoman K will get) he will use contractions. These give life, and show that the person is in a hurry. I mean, who wants to waste their time time talking to someone?
